Dan Kehoe

Dan Kehoe has been involved in all facets of the card data storage market for over 20 years. His experience has ranged from Corporate Counsel, Business Development, In-house IP, Mergers & Acquisitions, Marketing and Sales to President and CEO. He is the President and CEO of UltraCard, Inc, a data storage company utilizing proprietary IP for the card market.

1999 to present: Mr. Kehoe was/is President and CEO of UltraCard, Inc. UltraCard was/is a licensee and owner of many patents and patents pending developed for the high storage capacity card market. He has spoken before many governments, financial institutions, technology users and systems integrators around the world. He led UltraCard and its technology into Partnering and Strategic Alliance Agreements and LOI's with the following companies: Amex Data Systems, Komag, HMT, Infineon, Seagate, Kaifa, Motorola, Litton PRC, CPI Card Group, Giesecke & Devrient (G&D), Quantum, Maxtor and others. He negotiated an investment, licensing agreement and a one year buy-out with Motorola for a valuation of almost $1 Billion. UltraCard developed a five and one-quarter inch, half-height four read, reader/writer and cards that have been successfully demonstrated. He negotiated over $30 million in purchase orders for the company.

1989 to 1999: Mr. Kehoe licensed the original high storage capacity card patent(s) using magnetic and other media utilizing hard disk drive technology. He filed for and received additional patents in regard to card data storage systems. He developed a proof of concept using hard disk drive technology to read and write to an ISO standard card. He also served as a consultant to the original design team that had filed the original patent application for using disk drive technology in a card form factor. He served as in house IP Counsel and as VP of Business Development. He brought in Partnering Agreements with C-Cubed Corporation, Westinghouse, 3M, IBM Ad-Star, Read/Write, Corning, Hoya and SyQuest.

1977 to 1989: Mr. Kehoe co-founded a land development company, construction company, property management company, real estate company and various material supply companies. The companies developed resort properties, single and multiple family housing, offices, retail centers, subdivisions and planned unit developments, among others.

1973 to 1977: Mr. Kehoe was a co-founder of Bischof, Kehoe, Buckley, Thwing and Grove, a Portland, Oregon based law firm. The law firm specialized in Constitutional, Land Use, Labor and Business Law.

Mr. Kehoe has a BS from Lewis and Clark College and a JD from Northwestern School of Law.
